What are we doing?

We're putting on a live concert featuring a youth choir at the 2025 Bellevue Festival of the Nativity. Adult performers will also participate.

We are performing three 75-minute concerts with really cool, modern Christmas music, a live band, and fun lighting, costume, and other elements. In addition to performing in nine musical numbers, youth will also act as the emcees for the concerts.

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule and Information

Committments and Requirements

  • All participants are expected to memorize their music and lines well in advance.
  • For youth participants,
    • If you want to sing, you must be able to memorize music and sing parts in tune.
    • If you want a speaking part (as an emcee), you must be able to memorize lines and speak clearly.
    • In either case, you must be comfortable being in front of an audience and following instructions.
    • You must be able to attend approximately 75% of non-mandatory rehearsals. Attendance is highly encouraged.
  • For all participants, you must be able to attend all mandatory call times.

Mandatory Call Times

  • Nativity Fireside (youth only): Saturday, November 8, 7 pm
  • Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 5, 6 pm (goes very, very late)
  • Performance 1: Thursday, December 11, 6:00 pm
  • Performance 2: Friday, December 12, 6:00 pm 
  • Performance 3: Saturday, December 13, 6:00 pm

Additional Rehearsals

Weekends (some Saturday nights, some Sunday afternoons) @ John Anderson's home as needed and as available until December 5.
